THE IMPORTANCE OF DESIRE

There are a few points I wanted to pull out from this video that can change your perspective so you can pursue your dreams with confidence.

1. There are resources set aside for you. In the video, I mentioned that I already had money set aside for my son to do whatever he wanted to do. Similarly, God already has people, supplies, revenue, and connections set aside for you so you can accomplish the dreams, callings, and purposes placed in you. And like me, God is waiting on you to say what you want.

2. You have to pursue what you want. I asked my son to let me know what he wants to do but he never did. Therefore, I kept my money in my wallet. This happens to us as well, if we don't pursue what we want, things that are for us won't magically appear in our laps. We just won't get them.

3. Take the limits off. My son said he thought skating or bowling would be too much. He had limits around what he thought he could have. He's not the only one. Often we play small, think small, and dream small because we don't think we deserve a certain lifestyle or certain things are out of our reach. They are not.

4. Make a list of what you want. In Habakkuk 2:2 the Bible says to write your vision down and make it plain. Make a list of what you want and be as clear as you how to be with it. Now choose one item from your list are make a second list about things you're going to do to start accomplishing it. After you're done, get to work.
